About the Business
This website is dedicated to the Beech Underwriting Terrorism Insurance product. Following the aftermath of the atrocities in the United States of America on 11th September 2001, insurers and market bodies such as the Association of British Insurers (ABI) and the British Insurance Brokers Association (BIBA), had been in discussion with the UK Government regarding the future of terrorism insurance cover for businesses in the UK. In consequence all insurers have introduced new war and terrorism exclusions to their policy wordings for new and existing policies. Previously the Government backed terrorism facility (Pool Re) provided terrorism cover for individual policyholders over and above the heads of cover provided by the underlying commercial property covers up to the total sum insured or limit of liability. Terrorism Insurance is a very complex subject and Beech Underwriting are specialists in this product.
