Mann Broadbent Limited was established in 1961 by its founders Bob Mann and Bob Broadbent with the intention of providing the necessary cover for teams engaged in amateur sport. Bob Mann's background was in football, not only as a player, but later as a Football League, F.I.F.A. and Olympic Games referee and an administrator at County F.A. level. Bob Broadbent's background was in cricket. The business was acquired by Sutcliffe & Co, a family owned independent broker in Worcester. Under their management the business has prospered and grown into other sports and leisure pursuits including dance.
